Delta Private Jets Card Frequently Asked Questions
Aircraft & Flight Information
Who provides the aircraft used in the Delta Private Jets Card program?
Aircraft for Delta Private
Jets™ Cardholders come from Delta Private Jets™ fleet of owned and
managed aircraft as well as from Delta Private Jets™ network of approved
affiliate operators. Approved affiliates must have a signed agreement
with Delta Private Jets™ as well as hold an ARG/US "Platinum" or "Gold"
safety rating and pass an ARG/US TripCheq before every flight. ARG/US is
a worldwide leader in performing on-site safety audits for corporate
flight departments, charter operators, and commercial airlines.
Does the Cardholder pay for fuel?
The hourly rates include fuel costs, so there is no additional fuel cost once the Cardholder joins the program.
Will Delta Private Jets Cardholders be able to schedule the use of multiple aircraft on the same day?
Yes, unlike most other
private jet services, Cardholders may schedule multiple aircraft on the
same day. Availability to multiple aircraft will be guaranteed on all
days except Peak Days.
Is taxi time added?
Cardholders are billed for
time when they are occupying the aircraft from wheels up to wheels down.
There will also be six minutes added for taxi on take-off and six
minutes added for taxi on landing. This is a standard adjustment even if
actual taxi time is longer than six minutes.
How many passengers does Delta Private Jets guarantee in each category?
Delta Private Jets
guarantees the following number of passengers in each aircraft category:
Light Jet - six passengers. Midsize Jet - seven passengers.
Super-Midsize Jet - eight passengers. Large Jet - nine passengers.
Please be aware of possible constraints on the ability of aircraft to
carry excessive luggage. If you would like to bring luggage such as
skis, golf bags, firearms, etc. please notify your Delta Private Jets
Card Concierge at the time the trip is scheduled.
