If your goal is the flight deck of a major airline, build your flying time with the only private jet operator to offer pilots a guaranteed application review with Delta Air Lines once minimum experience requirements are met.

Paid ATP CTP Training and PIC Type Rating

The ATP CTP (Airline Transport Certification) training course is mandatory for career advancement and DPJ covers the cost of training. Your initial aircraft type training also results in PIC (Pilot-in-Command) type rating.

Coming from a career in Part 91 I wasn’t sure if I would like the high demand of Part 135 or the 8/6 schedule. It turns out that I enjoy both. We fly to so many diverse destinations and face unique situations that my knowledge and skills are constantly challenged and improving. In part 91 I had more nights at home but I didn’t have hard days off. At DPJ we work hard for a week and no one bothers us on our week off, which makes for a good work/life balance. Per diem pay of $45 domestic/ $85 international per day while on assignment
Volunteer flying on days off paid at 150% standard day rate
Company covers FAA Medicals and Known Crewmember enrollment
401K match (Company matches 70% of the first 5% of the employee's contribution)

8 on / 6 off rotations

Qualifications

Possess an ATP or be eligible to enroll in an ATP CTP program
First Class Medical and valid Passport
Eligible to work in the US
High School Diploma or GED
