The Aircraft and Avionics Technicians with Delta Private Jets are key players within a very dynamic aircraft service and Maintenance and Repair Organization (MRO). Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, our Technicians provide expert support for the Delta Private Jets fleet of aircraft and ensure all work activities comply with FAA Regulations and company policies. We have MRO facilities in two locations, Fort Lauderdale and Cincinnati.

Requirements

  • Possess clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with a working knowledge of aircraft systems and structures
  • Hold a current FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Ratings
  • Technicians must have over 5 years in aviation with at least 3 years in a FAA 145 Repair Station environment focused on business aircraft

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting and repair of Aircraft
  • Assist other team members to become more effective and knowledgeable
  • Maintain assigned aircraft with maximum effectiveness and quality
  • Efficient return of the assigned aircraft to service

  • Experience and education demonstrating clear and concise decision making skills
  • Must hold a current FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Ratings

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact and control for maintenance performed on fleet aircraft
  • Advise dispatchers and flight operations of expected turnaround times during maintenance events
  • Expedite acquisition of replacement parts and coordinate maintenance requirements in the event of irregular operations or interruptions
  • Ensure maintenance providers efficiently return aircraft to service
